The homies over at Metal Nexus caught up with Phil Anselmo while at Louder Than Life. Below is the link to their article, and full interview video.

“We had the immense pleasure of speaking the man himself Philip H. Anselmo just moments after he and The Illegals played their jaw dropping all Pantera set at Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky and was joined by Gwar near the end of the set. Although everyone within ear shot was super impressed with the performance and had that fuzzy nostalgic feeling of hearing these songs performed live, Phil seemed to think the bands performance could have been better...”

I got the chance speak with Chris while at Louder Than Life this year, in Louisville KY. We talk about the current state of rock and metal music, as well as why it’s actually thriving. We also talk about touring with Twiztid, and how that came to be. It’s all really great, and I hope you enjoy.

Motionless in White is currently on tour with We Came As Romans, After The Burial and Twiztid. Dates and tickets below:

Offend my eyes has been teasing a couple new Ouija Macc pieces for a week or so now, and yesterday finally revealed the full set!

Here’s the description:

It shouldn’t be a surprise that an artist as unique and out-there as Ouija Macc is also wearing custom made, limited edition streetwear like this tracksuit. We’ve teamed up with Psychopathic artist Ouija Macc to bring you this exclusive collection that embodies both Ouija’s horror rap style and the weird artwork of Offend My Eyes.

Fully sublimated with the highest quality inks that never fade, these tracksuits are made to last no matter how much Faygo gets thrown over them. Each tracksuit is custom-made with zip pockets, printing inside the hood and a full front zip which goes to the top of the hood. A soft, fleecy inside teamed with a super thick material makes it comfy as well as eye-catching.

You can order the full tracksuit, or separate pieces (as well as a patch), from the official Offend My Eyes online store!

Over on Facebook, ICP has dropped a couple very interesting updates regarding upcoming events over the past couple days! Let’s get in them now!

First, regarding the Wicked Weekends tour, Green Jelly, Ouija Macc, AND Big Hoodoo have all been added to the tour! Dates on the graphic below:

Also pertaining to the tour, VIP bumdles!

Personally, the charm and mask are enough to intrigue me!

Next up, a Devil’s Night Soopa Party! Headline by none other than the Soopa Villainz themselves, with special guests Blahzay Roze, Project Born, & Str8 Jacket, hosted by the man Kegan the CreepAss!

Complete with costume party and contests, you’re not gonna want to miss that one! They’ve also released info regarding the Hallowicked VIP packages for the 26th annual Hallowicked, the next night at the Russell in Detroit!

Last but not least, possibly the coolest bit, the annual Big Ballas Party information has been revealed to be what is apparently a booze cruise in NYC!

I expect each and every one of the cats in the JYC to pick up tickets, so since they’re limited, you had better jump on those this Friday at noon EST!

ABOUT UNDEROATH:
Underoath released Erase Me, their first album in eight years, via Fearless Records in 2018. The band notched a Grammy nomination in the Best Metal Performance category for “On My Teeth” and spent most of the year on the road in support of the album — playing countless sold-out headline shows and headlining their first-ever arena show in their Tampa hometown. Ultimately, Erase Me represents a watershed moment for the gold-selling heavy music luminaries whose inescapable influence can be felt in nearly every corner of hard rock. The album crashed the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums Chart at #1. It sees the band refine its trend-setting but inimitable style with heavy intensity and hypnotic hooks coursing through songs, like the aforementioned “On My Teeth,” “Rapture,” “Wake Me,” and the Top 15 active rock single “ihateit,” which have cumulatively tallied over 20 million streams in a few months’ time.

As many of you may know, I sat down with the homie Claas on Devils Night in Detroit, for a brief interview. We talked all kinds of stuff, and drunkenly joked around. It was a lot of fun, and extremely insightful. I’d like to thank Claas for sitting down with me, as well as his patience as this interview almost took a full year to see the light of day. I hope you all enjoy!

Cheers!!

Florida’s Biggest Rock Experience
Will Move To Its New Home In Daytona Beach, Florida
May 8, 9 & 10, 2020

Premier independent festival producer Danny Wimmer Presentsannounces a brand new location for the 2020 edition of Welcome To Rockville. The 10th year of Florida’s Biggest Rock Experience will be held at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida on Friday, May 8, Saturday, May 9 & Sunday, May 10, 2020.

After nine years at Jacksonville’s Metropolitan Park, Welcome To Rockville will be moving to the world famous Daytona Beach for the festival’s 10th year. As a result of Jacksonville’s continued development of the city’s downtown area, Metropolitan Park is no longer available to host the annual festival. After welcoming sold-out crowds of 90,000-plus the past three years, the move to Daytona International Speedway will allow Rockville to increase its audience capacity while at the same time providing more enhanced audience experiences.

A recent $400 million dollar renovation of the Speedway and additional $200 million invested in the surrounding area in recent years has transformed the destination into a world-class facility, including numerous hotels within walking distance, many dining options and expanded space for camping, allowing Rockville attendees a convenient and well-rounded experience.

Welcome To Rockville might be leaving Jacksonville, but I’m not leaving Jacksonville behind,” says Danny Wimmer, founder of Danny Wimmer Presents. “This is where it all began – not just for Rockville, but for me. I love my hometown, and I’m really proud of what Rockvilleaccomplished in its nine years in Jacksonville. Unfortunately, there was no longer a space at Metropolitan Park for us to deliver the kind of festival experience that Florida’s rock fans deserve. I’m excited to have a larger site to work with that allows us the room to continue growing the festival experience. I hope all of our Jacksonville friends will join us in this next phase of Welcome To Rockville’s evolution.”

Daytona International Speedway will serve as a great destination for Welcome To Rockville,” Track President Chip Wile said. “The facility is home to motorsports’ biggest events, and we’re excited to add this major music festival to our event calendar. The facility provides all the amenities and camping needs for guests while they enjoy a star-studded music lineup, all with the ‘World Center of Racing’ serving as the backdrop.”

More details, including an incredible music lineup for the 10thannual festival, will be announced in the coming months.

Welcome To Rockville continues to grow, and had its biggest year ever in 2019 with 99,000 in attendance over a sold-outweekend, May 3, 4 & 5 at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville. The 9th annual festival featured some of the biggest names in rock, with Tool, Korn, Rob Zombie, Judas Priest, Incubus, Evanescence, Shinedown, Bring Me The Horizon and Chevelle leading a lineup of over 50 music artists.

Welcome To Rockville is produced by Los Angeles-basedDanny Wimmer Presents, one of the largest independent producers of destination music festivals in America. Additional DWP events include Aftershock Festival, Bourbon & Beyond, Chicago Open Air, Epicenter Festival, Hometown Rising, Louder Than Life, and Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival.

Daytona International Speedway is located at 1801 West International Speedway Blvd, in Daytona Beach, Florida. It’s just minutes away from the Daytona Beach International Airport, and less than two hours from Jacksonville and Orlando.

In 2016, the Speedway completed a $400 million renovation that transformed the venue into a state-of-the-art motorsports facility and garnered the SportsBusiness Journal’s prestigious Sports Business Award for Sports Facility of the Year. Opening recently across the street from Daytona International Speedway is ONE DAYTONA, a 300,000-square-foot retail, dining and entertainment district, along with two Marriott hotels and luxury apartments coming soon.
