Snak the Ripper rips Madchild yet another one with “Triple Homicide”

More than ever, it’s starting to look like the epic—and now weeks long—battle between Madchild and Snak the Ripper is going to go at least 12 rounds, and possibly just as many years.

After a brief period where all was relatively quiet on the West Coast rap front, another bomb has been dropped. Right after Madchild took his best shot at Snak the Ripper with the diss track “Fatal Attraction”, Snak the Ripper has given notice he’s determined to get the last word in. Pay attention to the end of his third Madchild diss track, “Triple Homicide”, and you might catch the line “I ain’t gonna stop until your ass is in an urn.”

As for the accompaning video, get set for scenes of torture by urination, implied bestiality, and the site of a coke-dusted Madchild impersonator who comes complete with facial tattoos and a baseball cap with Sadchild stitched on it.

Madchild, meanwhile, looks like he’s decided he’s got better things to do than go tit-for-tat with Snak the Ripper until 2021. He’s posted an actual video for “Fatal Attraction” (previously, the diss track was accompanied by an old photo of the two rappers in happier times).

Madchild followed that up with this tweet:

Whether or not this is officially the end of the nastiest beef in Canadian hip-hop history remains to be seen. In the meantime, watch “Triple Homicide” below.

Madchild – Fatal Attraction (Snak The Ripper Diss) Official Music Video

Directed And Edited By Cs films
Second Cameraman Rose Glen Ent

No halt to war between local MCs as Madchild drops another response to Snak the Ripper

  • null
2 of 2

It seems as though the downpour this past weekend didn’t douse the fire burning between local MCs Madchild and Snak the Ripper.

Madchild might be on tour, but that didn’t stop him from making time to record a response to Snak’s latest diss track, “Child Abuse”, which was released on November 5. It follows Madchild’s first diss track, “The Funeral”, which was released a day earlier. While Snak’s songs have all been accompanied by angry but well-shot videos, Madchild’s returns are free of any eye candy.

All this hate stems from a deleted Tweet by Madchild that called Snak a “loud mouth piece of shit talking punk bitch”. (Madchild allegedly left an apology on Snak’s voicemail after deleting the tweet, which he posted on Twitter on October 28.) Snak’s response to the tweet, “Assisted Suicide” followed on October 30.

The war continues on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, with third parties like Tre Nice and Moka Only weighing in on the beef.

Opening with the proclamation, “The man to beat me hasn’t been born yet,” “Fatal Attraction” addresses every allegation Snak makes about Madchild in “Child Abuse”, from Snak’s claims that he’s still using drugs to the fact that he’s due to retire.

“A million rappers older than me and they ain’t retired yet/Think your spitting flames, I’m a fucking fire hydrant/I’m vibrant, a werewolf and a vampire, a hybrid/Your diss is just regurgitating everything that I’ve said,” raps Madchild in the first verse.

Woven among some not-so-subtly worded death threats, he goes on to tell Snak to “check [his] estrogen” and references the hype made over Snak’s video for “Child Abuse”, saying “Trying to steal my enterprise like it’s Star Trek/Perfect video, that diss was a car wreck”.

Near the end of the track, Madchild tries to come out as the good guy by bringing up their young fans on more than one occasion, citing them as the reason for his apology voicemail: “That apology was for the children/and the movements that we both worked so hard to build with/’Cause I don’t want to see kids fighting over a rap war/Not Stompdown Killaz and not Baxwar”.

But by the last few seconds of the track, all bets are off. Madchild doesn’t forget Snak’s refusal to participate in a rap battle for charity—as proposed in “The Funeral”—and ends the diss by calling Snak a pussy.

It’s clear that neither MC is ready to back down. Snak has responded to Madchild’s accusations about not participating in a battle for charity, citing Stompdown Killaz involvement with other charitable activities, but Madchild’s Twitter has been virtually silent since today’s release.

Listen to Madchild’s “Fatal Attraction” here. We’d tell you to watch it, but like “The Funeral”, the only visual is a poorly Photoshopped image of the two in better days.

Moka Only responds to the Snak The Ripper vs. Madchild beef

Vancouver, BC – Canadian rap vet and former Swollen Members artist Moka Only just released a video statement (filmed by Lloyd from Canada) explaining his position on the Snak The Ripper vs. Madchild rap beef.

Mr. Mellow found himself caught in the middle of the beef when both Madchild and Snak name-dropped him in their diss tracks. On “The Funeral” Madchild insisted that Moka wanted to kick Snak’s head in. But then Snak fired back saying: “That was a lie what you said bout Moka O and Prevail/ How you like the screen shots/ Stomp you till your spleen pops.” And then Snak posted a screenshot from a conversation he had with Moka where Moka claims he didn’t want to kick Snak’s head in.

(Updated Nov. 7 at 12:23 pm: As Madchild has pointed out, Snak The Ripper did initially namedrop Moka Only in “Assisted Suicide” when he said “I feel bad for Moke and Prev/ What the f**k did you do?/ Wake up one day and decide to f**k over your crew).

Moka Only uses this video to claim his role as the ‘Peacekeeper.’ He refuses to pick sides with this beef: “They’re trying to have a good battle. So they use anything that they can in order to use as ammunition. But unfortunatly, I got dragged in the middle of it.”

Moka Only launches record label, Beautiful Records [News] - HipHopCanada.com

Call him the rap game Switzerland, if you will. Moka is one of few cats who I’ve personally never heard talk bad about anyone in the rap game. Moka is all the chill. And I think this is one of the realest responses to the beef that I’ve seen.

As Moka points out, it’s tough when it’s friends involved: “I don’t have any ill will towards Madchild. I don’t have any ill will towards Snak. I’ve tried to always be the guy that basically gets along with anybody. We’re in our 30s and 40s. I’m 41, personally. I got much bigger fish to fry than bickering with people. You know what I mean? I’d rather keep the peace and see what opportunities are down the road to do work together, or whatever.

Moka wraps the video by subtly plugging his new #HorseJazz movement. Moka has made reference to it over social media a few times. He claims he’s done with rap and he only wants to make Horse Jazz, now.

Part of me thinks this is probably a lead-up to the next Moka O project. But we’ll see what comes of that. In the meanwhile, get ready for the release of this year’s Martian Xmasproject. In case you’re not familiar – Moka Only drops a Christmas project every year and it’s one of my favourite things about the holiday season. He didn’t ask me to plug that, by the way. He didn’t even ask me to post this response on HipHopCanada. I just think it’s an important seven minutes of video that y’all need to take in.
