Hopsin’s Funk Volume Challenges Any Label to $500,000 Rap Battle

Stopping by Sway in the Morning on Shade 45 in promotion of his new album Pound Syndrome, Hopsin tagged along with Jarren Benton and Dizzy Wright. During the interview, they challenged their rap colleagues and appealed to any label to put up $500,000, pick their best three rappers and try to defeat Hop, Jarren and Dizzy. N****, I’m about to rob you,” said Benton. In other words, Shady Records, Strange Music, G.O.O.D. Music and ever other imprint in the industry can pick up the gauntlet and return to the roots of the genre.
