Insane Clown Posse (ICP) and Twiztid are not the names you would usually hear when charities are mentioned. They should be though; they care about the community as much as the next person. When their names are mentioned it’s usually hateful things being said. If people who disliked their music looked past the music, they would find kind-hearted, giving individuals. These two rap groups,Juggalos and other artists give back to the community.    ICP is known to give to multiple charities such as Make-A-Wish Foundation, Toys for Tots, food drives and coat drives. Here are some of the charity events that they are known for. In the  2000’s during their Wicked Clowns from Outer Space tour, they held a food drive at every show. In 2010 there was the Sugar Slam Super live Toy Drive that helped children in need with warm clothes for the winter, and toys for Christmas. Sugar Slam continues to have toy drives every Christmas, with the donated items going to Toys for Tots. In 2013, 17 years old Cody’s wish was to go to the Gathering of the Juggalos. With the help of Make-A-Wish Foundation and ICP his wish came true. Cody, who was diagnosed with a very rare liver disease, spent an afternoon with ICP on their bus as well as getting all the CDs and DVDs he wanted from the Merch Booth.

In 2014 they did a benefit for Aaron Spencer. The proceeds of this benefit concert went to Aaron’s family. In 2015, they have been involved with several things. In February, they did a free concert. For two canned goods you got a ticket into the show. The exact number of donations is unknown, but there were a lot of cans collected that day. The food was donated to Gleason Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan. They sent a card with gifts to 8 year old Sa’fyre Terry, a burn victim, who lost her whole family to a house fire when she was 5. ICP is currently on the RassleRap Charity Tour with JCW, DJ Paul, Young Wicked and more. The profits from the tour will be donated to St. John’s Children’s Hospital.

Charitable events that Twiztid have done include the following; In 2002 they participated for free in the Jam for Jewell benefit. Twiztid had held silent auctions in the month of December is as early as 2003, with the proceeds going to varies charities. This year at the 2nd Annual Twiztmas party held at The Crofoot in Pontiac, Michigan they held a silent auction once again. The proceeds from the auction were donated to the Humane Society, Toys for Tots, and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Detroit. The tickets for the show were available at the venue for a donation of four canned goods or $1.00 online. The money from the tickets purchased online where donated to charity as well. It was a sold out show, and over 2,000 canned goods were collected for Gleaners Community Food Bank.

The subculture known as Juggalos, which are fans of ICP, are also reaching out to help the needy, and make a difference. Juggalos Making A Difference (J.M.A.D.) are based in Denver, Colorado who helps teenagers stay off the streets by connecting them with the resources needed. They are a non-profit organization that also helps the needy and homeless with items like food, clothing, blankets and toys. There is a group of teenagers in Florida who clean a piece of road of trash annually, since 2008. It’s the Annual Dead Stephanie Memorial Cleanup in Honor of Stephanie Harris. She passed away in 2008 of juvenile diabetes. In the past year or two Juggalo came together to raise money for Autism Awareness by selling shirts with the proceeds going to Autism Speaks.

If you are kind to others, and volunteer your time or give to charities, much respect to you. Keep doing what you’re doing. Remember, even the the smallest thing – like a smile or a kind word – can make a difference in someone’s life. Let’s not  wait till the Holiday season to spread cheer. Show kindness all year long, and we can make a difference.

The Game also offered to fly Stitches out to Los Angeles first class.

Since getting knocked out by The Game’s manager Wack 100 and then getting jumped by his own crew, Stitches has not gone down quietly. The 20-year-old Miami rapper has instead doubled down on his beef with The Game, aired out several fight challenges, recorded a diss track, basically shoveled fuel into the fire with reckless abandon. Yesterday, he challenged Game to a boxing match. The Game has now responded: he will fight Stitches “for FREE in the middle of the street” — under two conditions.

1. Stitches must first fight little-known California rapper/producer Nicky D’s “#WhiteboyVSWhiteboy” and not get knocked out.

2. Stitches must sign a waiver agreeing that he will not sue Game or press charges.

The Game offered to fly Stitches out to LA first class and send an Uber Lux to pick him up at the airport.

By the good graces of God, it looks like this fight may actually happen. Who do you think would win? Stitches is a large man, though Wack 100 recently postulated that bigger guys like him lack actual fighting skills/wherewithal. Game is no slouch himself, and as he noted in the hashtags, he is #CurrentlyOnTrialForWhooping40GloccAss.

See The Game’s full post below.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Juggalos enjoy the holiday spirit just like anyone else.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Juggalos enjoy the holiday spirit just like anyone else.

The holidays are upon us, and the chance to gather with our loved ones and be merry is nearly universal at this time of year, although not everyone chooses to celebrate in the same manner. Many of us will be putting up a tree and decorating it, while the yearly 24 hour “A Christmas Story” marathon rolls on in the background, perhaps wishing that Houston’s weather was a little cooler and we had a chance at snow. American culture is diversifying, and unconventional subcultures continue to emerge, so a few of us may find ourselves wondering how to share some holiday cheer with a loved one who dances to the beat of a different drummer — or if that loved one is a Juggalo, to music made by hip hop performers who wear horrific clown makeup.

Here are a few tips for enjoying a merry holiday season with your Juggalo friends and relatives:.

3. Get The Music Right.

Sure, the entire Juggalo community is built around the music of a specific band, and others inspired by them, but spinning any ‘ol record by ICP or one of their Psychopathic Records label mates isn’t going to impress your daughter’s new boyfriend “Stabkilla K” (Don’t slip up and accidentally refer to him as “Kevin”… He hates that.). Fortunately, there is a fair amount of Juggalo Christmas music available if a person digs around a little bit. In fact, ICP released their own album of Christmas songs way back in 1994 with “A Carnival Christmas”, so reaching for that holiday classic should lift the spirits of any Juggalo who’s visiting your home.

With tunes like Santa’s a Fat Bitch, Red Christmas, and Santa Killas, one doesn’t have to be a Juggalo to get in the mood for… Killing Santa? And if those songs aren’t enough to keep your party going all night long, spinning “A Cut-Throat Christmas” by Twiztid, is sure to warm the cockles of any Juggalo’s heart. Seasonal favorites like Fuck You It’s Christmas, Waiting On Christmas Gifts, Sad Christmas Song, andLonely On Christmas are almost guaranteed to fill everyone with cheer.

2. Get Appropriate Gifts.

Finding the perfect gift for your favorite Juggalo might seem like a challenge at first, but fortunately ICP has made it easier than you might think. Heading over to the band’s merchandise website, one will find all sorts of horrorcore gear sure to please the discerning Juggalo. Sure, there are plenty of ICP hoodies, shirts and other swag available, but they also are selling a special “Hatchetclaus” Xmas shirt, which blends the holiday spirit with ICP’s “Hatchetman” mascot quite nicely. I was also able to locate themed Christmas ornaments, that can be personalized with your favorite Juggalo’s name, and those are sure to become cherished family heirlooms down the road. Honestly though, heading down to the local costume store and buying some quality clown makeup would probably also go over well – No self respecting Juggalo can ever have enough clown white in their arsenal.

1. Refreshments. You’ll Need Refreshments.

No holiday gathering would be complete without some excellent food and drinks on hand, and although nearly any pizza delivery would probably cover your Juggalo loved one’s munch needs, for drinks only one thing will do. You’ll need Faygo. Lots and lots of Faygo. In this part of the country that can be easier said than done, as finding the Juggalo preferred soft drink on store shelves isn’t as easy as one might think. However, don’t despair, it can be found if one applies themselves hard enough. I’ve spotted the elusive elixir at a Fiesta, so it must be available at some places around here. Leave yourself plenty of time to search in advance of your party, because ordering Faygo to be delivered from out of state could get expensive. Once you’ve got the multi-colored sugar water that Juggalos crave the most, don’t get lazy. Sure, it can be served straight out of the bottle, but why not get creative, and come up with some Faygo based holiday drinks? Drop 20 oz of “grape” into a batch of eggnog, and watch everyones’ eyes light up with glee. Mixing “Redpop” Faygo into a punch bowl of wassail will warm your guest’s hearts along with their tummies, and throwing in a little vodka probably wouldn’t hurt their holiday spirit either.

Remember, holidays with friends and families are a time to spend time with one another and to put aside our differences. Say what you will about Juggalos, but they seem to have a deep sense of commitment to each other – ICP just sent a young girl who was severely burned and lost her family to a fire a whole bunch of Christmas gifts, because her father had been a fan of theirs. That’s a pretty charitable move by guys who often sing about murder and wear clown makeup, and is a true manifestation of the holiday spirit. Perhaps we can all learn a lesson of acceptance and love from the Juggalos in our lives. A real holiday miracle.

Sedated-“Push Pause” Review

-By: Tommy Boy

Los & Lettes, we gather here today to discuss this guy called Sedated. This artist has been a highlight and favorite at the Gathering on several occasions and taken not only the Juggalo scene, but places like Russia and Minsk have large Sedated fanbases. Basically, if you don’t know him, you need to get yourself a dose..If you haven’t seen him perform live, you are missing out. Already having great success this year by winning Midwest Music Awards Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, in addition, Sedated just signed a Worldwide Distribution deal with RBC Records (the same dist company as Tech N9ne & Bone Thugs) to back the new release.  We recently took to iTunes and downloaded the new “Push Pause” EP released digitally this past Friday the 13th. The first official video release “A Loaded Gun” dropped Halloween and has been getting good attention, featuring a bloody Zombie slaying Sedated in his first animated music video. This EP is short and sweet with only 5 tracks, but before you think you are being short handed, our sources say this release is a part in a series that use the number of tracks in play to the releases. So there are 5 tracks for a reason. Even tho you don’t get the amount of tracks, the quality and diversity of the material completely makes up for it. For those who are longing for that full length Sedated in their face, you will just have to wait for the next project that is said to be a album.
The EP
This release is his first project to drop following his last album “Hit Record” featuring the most popular track “Mocking Bard”. This EP is nothing like that album. You are getting fresh meat with this one. It holds is own identity among his material and previous tracks. Fully produced and recorded in-house, “Push Pause” holds a simplicity that isn’t to be mistaken for plain. It brings back a story telling element that has been missing in music for a while.
The Ep starts off with the track “Belly of the Beast” which is an ode to the Midwest (Kansas City in particular) . This one is raw and in your face. Has that signature midwest punchy piano riff and hard kicks. He is dependently marking his territory with this track. With it being the first song, it feels like it is a “Let’s just get this out the way” joint. Strait to the point. It seems to prepare you for the journey into the EP and brings you up to date with what Sedated is about for the new listener.. Def a good solid jam.
The first single “A Loaded Gun” is the #2 of the line-up. This one shows the diversity in the production used in the project. It has some old school sounds and a very animated. It has a nostalgic feel. You have to let this one take you along with it when listening. The perc is you get an extra verse that you don’t get with the video vers. 80’s & 90’s kids will like this one.
The 3rd installment is the track “FAKE’N JACK”. If you dislike pussy-hop and fake ass rappers… this one is for you. This song holds no care for feelings. Sedated has always been known to tell it like it is in his opinion. Just like “Mocking Bard” he points out some of the typical issues with many of the other artist out. Fakeness and fuckery. Seems each album, he has that one “slap a wankster around a bit” song. This one is catchy and takes a twist on the Jack & the Beanstalk concept. It also features an attached interlude with chants that is great if you want to test your speakers durability.
Number 4 is one of the highlights of the EP. This one touches on a great subject.. WEED! This is the smokers track. Titled “Simply Strains”, he used nothing but reefer lingo and bud brands to create this song. Nicknamed “32 Flavors”, you def want to spark up when you listen. Red eyes and happy ears will be the result. Very good wordplay and delivery.
#5 and the final track is on a deeper darker side. Following a motorcycle accident that almost took his life back in 2006, he has been resistant to speak on the spiritual changes and challenges that he endured during that time along with a deeper vision of life and the purpose.. Told you this one was deep. It gives you a flush feeling followed by a total change of sensory. It’s almost leaves you in a trance. After you think it’s over, you will find yourself listening to the EP exit song “The Doctor’s In Outro” Prepare to feel some bass and vibration. This is probably the favorite for most hardcore fans. A look inside the mind of the madman for better terms…
All and all, this EP kicks ass and holds a good punch. The sound is awesome and very fat. It’s almost like listening to an old record before music was smashed by compression. That makes this EP not only good for a Sedated lover, but a music lover also. Very good quality. It gives you a little bit of everything and does not kill you with repetitive content and themes. You never taste the same flavor twice when you bite into this one. Serious to Sarcastic, Sedated can always deliver a good product. Push Pause is really unlike anything you prob have ever heard. Being different is always what makes Sedated such a good artist in many peoples eyes. You will never get shorted originality. This EP is def worth heading over to iTunes and grabbing up. This will fit in well with your everyday playlist.  It’s only $4.99 and is available worldwide thru RBC Records.
So far every source has given this release a good review and rating. We understand why.
With 5 tracks, we give it 5 stars and two whoops up!
We will be giving out a few hard copy CDs of “Push Pause” to a few lucky people. Keep tabs thru JN for details!

If all parties agree and sign the contract, the fight will be scheduled for January 29 in Los Angeles.

Stitches has reportedly signed a contract to fight The Game in a boxing match put together by Celebrity Boxing Federation CEO, Damon Feldman.

In a series of recent videos uploaded to Instagram, both Stitches and Feldman attempt to goad The Game into signing the contract.

“Woo, I’m bout to sign that contract with Damon [Feldman] right now,” Stitches says. “That Celebrity Boxing shit, boy. Anybody who wants to see me and The Game throw hands, comment below. Your manager hit me, nigga, but you didn’t. I got jumped, nigga, but you didn’t touch me.”

Stitches continues in the post’s caption field: “@losangelesconfidential time to prove to everybody that you can handle your own beef. We do this and donate the money to a charity . End of discussion .@celebrityboxing . You know I will take you 1 on 1 fair fight like men do. Let’s get itttt. Don’t use the excuse of me suing you cause that will never be my intention plus this is all on contract . No suing”

Damon Feldman, the CEO of Celebrity Boxing Federation, then weighed in with his own video asking The Game to sign the contract.

“Damon Feldman here with Celebrity Boxing [Federation],” he says. “So look, the word is Stitches got snuck. Game, you’ve been offered fights several times [and] you never stepped up. Stitches has signed the contract. Game, are you gonna sign here? Step up.”

Again, Feldman continues in the post’s caption field: “@stitches has signed@losangelesconfidential @wack100 whats up 3 rds this is legal Boxing match under Celebrity Boxing rules this is 3rd match you where offered”

A few hours later, Stitches uploaded another video to Instagram again trying to goad The Game into signing the contract.

“Accept that fight, boy,” he says. “Show everybody you can step in that paint. Show everybody you one hundred. You say you gon’ put them hands on me, I wanna see you do it, nigga.”

Damon Feldman then passed comment on the original video of Stitches getting punched by The Game’s manager, Wack 100.

“Game, that was a joke, man. Stitches was snuck,” Feldman says. “This is you guys’ opportunity to step in the ring. He has signed the contract Stitches has. This is your chance to step in the ring. Get paid. Do it for real and legally.”

Feldman continues in the video’s caption: “I just saw the video@stitches was snuck come. On Game@losangelesconfidential you have to do it for real in the Ring thats only place where yiu get respect Sticthes has signed will you??”

In the most recent of posts, Feldman revealed more details regarding the contract that Stitches has allegedly signed. In the contract, it’s stated that the boxing match is scheduled for January 29 in Los Angeles and will feature three, 90-second rounds with 24-ounce boxing gloves.

The rivalry between the two rappers ignited in early October after Stitches publicly questioned The Game’s gang ties. A back-and-forth subsequently ensued over social media.
